Hello Friends,

I'm so excited to share our 2026 Impact Report with you! At Friends of the Children–Twin Cities, we believe showing up changes lives. Not just for the big milestones, but in the everyday moments that build trust, confidence, and belonging.

This year, our Friends celebrated kindergarten graduations, helped children reach reading goals, partnered with caregivers through challenging times, and created new opportunities for youth to discover their strengths.

And we have some wonderful outcomes to celebrate:

• 96% of youth demonstrated growth in social-emotional skills.
• 94% reported or demonstrated a sense of belonging.
• 100% made progress toward their individualized goals.
• 83% of caregivers felt empowered to overcome barriers.

Behind every number is a child, a family, and a relationship that continues to grow.

As a chapter that's just four years old, we're still in the early years of our 12+ year commitment to children and families. These are the short-term outcomes that lay the foundation for long-term success in education, relationships, and life. We're already seeing what consistent, caring relationships make possible, and we're just getting started!
