Courtney Andersen is the Vice President of Supply Chain for 3M’s Safety & Industrial Business Group, where she leads end‑to‑end global supply chain strategy, execution, and transformation. In this role, she is responsible for driving operational excellence, accelerating innovation, strengthening resilience, and enabling growth across one of 3M’s largest and most complex business groups.
Courtney brings more than 20 years of experience in operations, plant management, engineering, and people leadership across the food, beverage, and consumer goods industries. Prior to joining 3M, Courtney spent nearly two decades at General Mills, where she advanced through roles of increasing responsibility and global scope. She most recently served as Vice President of Supply Chain for the Cereal division and Canada region.
A champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Courtney is deeply committed to developing the future workforce with integrity, clarity, and transparency. During her tenure at General Mills, she held leadership roles in several DEI networks—including the Women’s Leadership Network, Women in Supply Chain, and serving as Executive Sponsor for the Black Champions Network.
Before joining General Mills, Courtney began her career at Brown‑Forman Corporation as a Senior Electrical Engineer in Louisville, Kentucky. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Courtney resides in Minneapolis with her daughter, Harper. She is an active member of the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. City of Lakes Chapter, her local church community, and is the co‑founder and chair of the Margretta Nash Scholarship Fund—a STEM scholarship dedicated to motivating, empowering, and educating minority girls. In her free time, Courtney enjoys staying active, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
