BOARD: Chris Pham

Chris Pham is a nationally recognized attorney, educator, and community leader based in Minneapolis. He is a shareholder at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., where he co-chairs the Sports & Entertainment Group and serves as trusted outside general counsel to a diverse range of clients, including start-ups, athletes, brands, and established businesses across industries such as sports, hospitality, real estate, and financial services. Chris brings a strategic, solutions-focused approach to complex business, corporate, and contractual matters.

Chris also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, where he teaches in the Sports & NIL Clinic and helps prepare law students for careers at the intersection of law, sport, and business. He frequently speaks on developments in Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) and related legal topics.

A first-generation Vietnamese American and first-generation college graduate, Chris’s work is grounded in expanding opportunity and elevating voices. He founded Elevate LLC, a platform that brings people together through intentional networking, culture, and entrepreneurship. He also leads inclusion and diversity initiatives at his firm and serves on multiple civic and professional boards in the Twin Cities.

Chris’s leadership has been recognized through numerous awards, including inclusion on the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list. Through his board service and community engagement, he is committed to building pathways for young people and families to thrive.
